Have you ever wanted your very own hand-crafted knife? A knife that has your own personal touch? Well, you've found the place to get such a knife!
Hello, My name is Keith Russell and I am a native to Vicksburg, Michigan. I first got interested in knifemaking at the age of 17, when I put a maple handle on a production knife blade (I still have it to this day). During high school, I made a knife out of an old file and gave it to my best friend for his graduation present, and it was at this point that I became hooked on making knives.
Since college I've been in the tool and die industry, and the skills I've acquired over the years have been an invaluable help to me for making knives. The precision that I'm used to working with contributes to the fit and finish of my knives.
Today, I make my blades out of quality tool and cutlery steels, including: O-1, A-2, D-2, ATS-34 and others. The handles are made of many different materials and are fit to the person to whom it is made for. In short, what the customer wants, the customer gets.
My knives are very affordable for the person who wants a high-quality, utilitarian and/or collectible knife custom made to their specifications.
My work generally falls into the following categories:
